Avocado in my sushi was BLACK and tasted very off. Couldn't even finish the roll I ordered which even without the avocado problem was mediocre at best. This was brought to the attention of the owner, and he very condescendingly "informed" me that the avocado was sliced "today" and that it oxidizes quickly changing the color. According to him this doesn't also change the flavor. First of all, no proper sushi preparation includes slicing avocado hours before serving.
