Saw an injured female turtle in my flower bed. I called the center and they told me to bring her in. Frankie aka 18-0291 is in very capable and loving hands. I know she’ll get the care she needs.
I picked up an injured Barred Owl that I had rescued from the side of the interstate. At first, her prognosis was daunting, as she was completely blind from the head trauma she sustained from colliding with a vehicle. However, with the immediate and excellent care she's received via the CNC Wildlife Clinic, this owl has regained her vision and is self feeding, and hopefully will be a good candidate for re-release. If not for the CNC Wildlife Clinic, she would have had very limited options for recovery. I am very grateful for... read more
