Ontavius is a thief. I ordered glasses from here 7 months ago and never got them. I will be taking the appropriate measures to see that I get my money back. I DO NOT recommend.
I went in with my husband, to support our neighborhood business in May. It is December and we still don't have glasses. We took exams, ordered the frames, but they are never in the office. I don't know how we caught them in the 1st time, and I don't know how they stay in business. They seem like really nice people though. Their attitudes were more than pleasant. I just can't rate them any higher than one star because I didn't get the product I paid for.
Never answer there phone
I've been to Chatham Optical twice escorting a family member and I must say I'm not impressed by the lack of communication and professionalism. Today I had an encounter with a male staff person who was rude and unprofessional and who wanted to check me because I complained about waiting a long time (1hr) in the lobby to only be brought to the back room to sit for an additional 20 minutes again without being notified on why it was taking so long.
