We stopped here to look at their campground and was shocked at how run down it was. I wouldn't know where to begin. We're taking a hard pass.
Like it there. It is a wonderful weekend getaway from home life and work life. All you have to do is follow the rules. Really nice getaway. We have a pool. Sometimes on weekends there's a lot of activities , sometimes there's just a few. There's a pond that you can swim in if you don't like the pool. You can fish in the ponds , but it's catch and release. Come check it out. My family has been here 5 years. We will be starting our 6th year here for next season !
We’ve been full time campers at this campground for the past four years, and we absolutely love it! It truly feels like our home away from home. It’s such a wonderful, family-friendly place where you can truly relax and enjoy making memories together. I encourage anyone considering camping at Chatham Lakes Campground to take any negative reviews with a grain of salt. Read more into them. Think about it logically. Campground owners don't remove people that abide by the rules, pay their fees on time and don't cause trouble. They are just angry, and need someone to blame rather than admit they did wrong... I never thought I would see a business that is so rude and disrespectful towards their customers. This could be a great campground but Jim and his family have ruined it for everyone. If you look at the reviews they responded to, you can see just how rude they are. They will make up reason to kick people out and not give their money back. They also make up rules for certain people that they like. I hope that chatham lakes and get their stuff together because my visit there was very disappointing.
