RecommendedI don't think any of the times I needed Chatham Animal Clinic was a time during their normal hours.. every emergency I have had has been on a Sunday or later on in the evening and they have always had the same reply..."meet at the clinic in 15-20 minutes". I cannot say enough good things about the staff here and highly recommend them for any of your veterinary needs. I won't be going anywhere else.
Dr. Barker came out to my home to trim my potbelly pigs hooves. It was cold and pouring rain. She was the best and gave me some excellent advice on taking of her. Dr. Shorter also took care of my hedgehog with a much needed nail trim. This place and the staff are awesome. I highly recommend them to take care of your fur babies.
My horse Beau has received the best care from Chatham Animal Clinic for the past 16 years! Dr. Erwin & Dr. Barker were there for me when I had to make the toughest decision for him 🐎💔 I am so thankful for their wisdom as well as their compassion! Highly recommended!!
I cannot thank Dr. Lisa Shorter enough for what she did to help my Lexi. When my local animal clinic would not see her after hours even through we were established with them. Dr. Shorter was instantly there ready willing and able to help. I will continue the short drive there with all my other fur babies. Although my Lexi crossed to rainbow bridge. I know they did all they could.
Thank you Dr. Victoria Shorter for coming in and checking on Daisy. We didn’t know what was wrong with her and was SO concerned that we wanted to bring her in ASAP. She told us to come in 15 minutes. She was so helpful and knowledgeable & in great spirits even coming in last minute on a SUNDAY. You just don’t find people like that often ❤️ thank you!!
I have been going to Chatham Animal Clinic for quite a few years. Dr. Lisa Shorter helped me out of a bad situation years ago when I was not even a client and I have been there ever since. Dr. Paul Erwin is my vet for my horse. They do large and small animals. There are other amazing vets there also. Some of the staff have come and gone sivce I have been going there but you could not ask for a better group of caring people. I would recommend them to anyone for anything. I appreciate each and every person there.
I had a rejected foal and surely enough they came when I called. She was so kind to me and honest. Didn’t just add stuff on the bill to get money. Unfortunately the foal passed but she was there for me for sure!

I have worked with Chatham Animal Clinic for many years. They have always been amazing! Dr. Barker and Dr. Irwin have gone above and beyond for me this week especially. As a large animal vet, as well as many other specialties, there is genuinely no one better. Having vets that call you after hours in your hardest times and make their time with you personal is not something you find anywhere!
