The spa at Chateau Elan is absolutely NASTY. Spend your dollars elsewhere. I booked a “couples” 50 minute Himalayan salt stone massage for me and my mom to celebrate her 70th. In researching online I was very intrigued by the salt stone massage concept and the idea of their eucalyptus steam room that they advertise as a key amenity. The services there are wonderful and I’m grateful to be able to treat myself there quarterly. One warning based on my last visit I bought some skincare and it was very expensive. Unfortunately, I believe they gave me a tester bottle because I noticed when I got home it was almost empty. It was a $92 French serum and it was in the package so make sure you check your items before you leave. I won’t make that mistake again.
I had an amazing time at Chateau Elan’s Spa. Well worth every dime. I received a 50 massage service with Rodney. He was friendly , professional and absolutely amazing. I explained to him the pain i have been having in my shoulders and neck. He made sure to focus on that location and it made a tremendous difference. I usually get massages once every other month. Rodney provided the absolute best massage ever! Tia the supervisor was just as amazing, helpful and friendly. Emily also provided amazing service.
This was my first time at the spa and I was sadly disappointed. When I first walked in the guy at the front didn’t greet me and when I went up it felt like I was an inconvenience. Eventually made my way into the waiting room and the ambience was fine, but after waiting past my appointment I went up to the receptionist and they said my esthetician was running behind. Please! If you are considering celebrating a special occasion here, do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else. I do not write google reviews often. I am writing this one to protect you! This is a declining resort, pretending to offer a luxury, high-end resort experience. There is absolutely no importance placed on customer service.
