Music was just a bit loud for the people to hear the speakers.
I am McAllen Photographer and to be honest I didn't know what to expect but as soon as I got the tour I was mesmerized with this place!! The coordinators are very accommodating and friendly m, they have excellent customer service!! Highly recommend them for a photoshoot or any private event!!
I have had the pleasure of doing a few weddings here and makes life easy for photographers. Brides, the room to get ready in is huge. The staff is great at commuinicating with vendors so all runs smoothly. The wedding planners with both weddings made it so easy t o stay on time and let me put my equipment in special room. They feed us real food not sandwiches... I could go on and on. Love them!
Discrimination cannot be tolerated. Avoid this venue.
To specifically discriminate against same sex marriages puts this venue at the very bottom of my list as I am a lifelong LGBTQ ally. I will no longer accept any bookings for The Houston Jazz Band or Mighty Pretty Mixtape at this establishment. Shame on the owners.
Unfortunately due to the owner's religion, they discriminate against gay and lesbian couples and forbid marriages from taking place there. Their right as a private venue, but my right to find it disgusting that they'll accept $ to hold lgbtq receptions there. They'll take people's money for THAT part of it, but won't allow the ceremony to happen on site. Ugly. And they tell gay couples they can have their "celebration of life" there.
