Always a great breakfast and superb, friendly service! Host Nancy makes delicious fresh desserts daily, and her hubby Skip always has fun conversation in store. Just love them! :)

Let me first say I was excited at this 50 styles diner. black and white checkered floor red and white booths. it was like stepping back in time. I must admit though I use the country fried steak as a barometer for restaurants that serve breakfast. I was a little disappointed. Firstly, the cook lost 2 poonts Simply because she broke the yolk on my over easy eggs. The chicken fried steak was tough and had too much batter on it. While the food tasted good...service was more than subpar. It started with waiting approximately 3-4 min to even be acknowledged by any of the 4 wait staff or cook who clearly saw us standing there. Secondly, I have never waited anywhere close to 20-30 min for breakfast after ordering. Esp in a restaurant with only 3-4 other tables. Thirdly, our waitress chose to forgo writing down our order so after waiting forever, it was no surprise that the sunny side up and over medium eggs were on the wrong plates.
