The tilter mechanism on my 17 year old Hunter Douglas blinds broke. I called Chase’s to schedule a repair. Unfortunately, I had to wait a couple of weeks because they’re so busy. I understand why they’re so busy. Ted came out yesterday and was wonderful! He showed me exactly what went wrong, expertly fixed the blinds, and was a delight to talk to. Ted from Chase's has come to our Walnut Creek home twice in the last two years to repair a window shade and a tall door blind. Ted is very knowledgeable about the older mechanisms and was able to replace worn parts and make them function as good as new. Emily at the store in Benicia was very helpful in demonstrating different alternatives for us to consider. We are quite pleased that we found Chase's Carpet and Blinds and highly recommend the company to others.
I can’t say enough good things about Chase’s. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff (Thanks, Emily!). We had a repair issue and Emily knew exactly what to do. The price was very fair, and we were so relieved to have such an outstanding service provider initiate and guide the repair. Wow! Hats off to Shelley (3rd gen CEO) and Emily and the Chase’s team. For future shade repair needs, and for new Hunter Douglas shades/blinds, I know where we’re going!
I purchased a home recently that came with three beautiful, but quite dirty, sheer Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades, one of which was broken. Someone referred me to Chase's in Benicia for the repair work. I was happy to learn that Chase's also does sheer shade cleaning. I had tried to clean them myself, and found it extremely difficult.
