I came in today to get a savings account set up. Alana and Rachel were amazing to work with.
Specifically about the mortgage process. Applied for a line of credit was painful beyond compare. I get the banks need to tighten down after the downturn. But I've got 100 k plus equity and 800+ credit score, v applying for 30k line of credit. The people you have to deal with are morons. Btw, those aren't the staff at the branch.
The bank is conveniently located and the people are helpful and nice. However, if you try to CALL this bank- you get a perky and annoying: "We're sorry, we are busy helping other customers. Please call back or call the 800 #" which they then provide. Then the system hangs up! You can't leave a message... So, a simple question, perhaps directed to a specific person who set up your account for you, will not get answered UNLESS you go there!
