The hotel location is fantastic—a block away from downtown Palm Springs’ shops, bars and restaurants. The lobby is beautifully decorated with a mid-century modern design to keep in line with the architecture/era of the building. The view of the pool surrounded by palm trees and the mountains as a backdrop is breathtaking. Expectations become deflated once you get to your room though with its dark color palette, old grout lines in the kitchenette and bathroom and not-so-comfortable mattress and pillows.
