Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience when opening my wife’s checking account at this branch. My wife opened an account specifically to receive a $300 bonus, as advertised on the Chase website, by setting up direct deposit. After receiving her first $500 deposit, she never got the bonus. When I personally returned to the branch to ask about this, the branch manager told us that she didn’t get the bonus because she hadn’t provided a “promo code” from the website. I had scheduled an appointment and arrived at the bank on time, but unfortunately, the person I was supposed to meet was not available. I spoke with someone else and explained my issue. They were kind enough to listen and identify the problem, but since they were attending to another customer, they asked me to wait for twenty minutes.
