As a military service member, I opened my account normally. I showed my ID, made a deposit, and was done. Twenty-four hours later, my account was placed on hold until I received my debit card. Okay, odd, but I figured it was fine; I made a $100 deposit, and I could wait. I received my card, went through the standard steps, and then was told my account was closed. Good location and nice branch but I was promised something twice and neither time was the promise kept. They are now ignoring my requests. I have decided to no longer conduct business with Chase. Too many other options.
Staff is very nice and the customer service is very good there. People are always willing to help you with any questions. However, when it comes to your promotions for new customers, there needs to be more clarity as to what you need to do to qualify. Example- Like the $300 bonus incentive for direct deposit of $500 or more within 90 days of opening an account. I think that's what it was Just need more clarity. Otherwise, pretty decent bank!!
