This bank was SO AWFUL. On their website, they brag about how Cashier's checks go through in 24 hours or less. As soon as I deposited my sons check, they said it is the same as an actual check and wouldn't be funded for 10-14 days. We called the bank that the cashiers check came from and it had funded immediately. They did not care. We went to cash in a check. The clerk refused 1 of the IDs because it wasn't an USA ID. Told her Puerto Rico is part of USA and that is also a Real ID. The other clerk mentioned that they don't accept Canadian ID's either or IDs not from USA. I informed her that Puerto Rico is part of USA and that was a real ID as well. She still refused because it wasn't a state issued id. The ID is in Spanish and in English and says USA. She didn't even bother to look at it. We had to leave.
Just left the bank with my husband we had a man from India helping us and he seemed nice at first I sat watched and waited and in the end felt very disrespected & like I wouldn’t want my husband working with him again as a banker. I didn’t catch his name but he was short & round with glasses and very thin black hair.
As a military service member, I opened my account normally. I showed my ID, made a deposit, and was done. Twenty-four hours later, my account was placed on hold until I received my debit card. Okay, odd, but I figured it was fine; I made a $100 deposit, and I could wait. I received my card, went through the standard steps, and then was told my account was closed.
