I am a Chase client of over 10 years, and I was attempting to transfer money to another Chase client, who has also been a customer for more than a decade. Despite having both Chase account holders, the branch staff refused to process the check simply because it contained an abbreviated first name. Rather than finding a solution for two long-term customers, the staff's refusal forced me to drive across town in a thunderstorm to get another check. Stay away from here. They will hold your checks for what ever time they want and then change the time if they want. I deposited a 6 figure check, told me 4 days no problem. waited then they said oh no we have to hold it for 7 more days. Anybody that knows anything about banking knows it only takes 4 days for a check to be validated. So what they do i put the money in a an account and make money of the interest. Think about it if they can do this across the country for literally millions of people they can make tons of money ... read more
