Terrible company they say a time when will arrive and never do. They dont call to notify you they just do not show. Run the other way and hire any other company. Stuck with them for warranty purposes and the company the builder went with.
Very disappointed with my new home air condition unit (Goodman) installed by Chas Roberts. Three months and our a/c failed. Called at 7:00 am and didn’t get a tech until 8:00. The Temperature was 104 outside and 90 inside. The tech determined the the problem and needed to order part, no parts on truck. Left without leaving us with a/c. Told us they had to order part and they would call us when the part came in. Still without a/c. This is unacceptable. No work around from tech to get our unit working.
Called them for fixing my air conditioner. It needed a new capacitor. Technician quoted 195 dollars for a 10 dollar capacitor. Gave him his 85 dollar fee for visit and called another company who charged 160 dollars for visit and capacitor all inclusive.
Chas Roberts is truly the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. I live in a newly built home with a 'new' unit, however, I deal with a broken AC unit every 3 months or so. I have literally had 10+ visits from technicians who 'fix' my unit and then it breaks again. Apparently my warranty is now up even though my home had a FAULTY unit installed from the start. Terrible customer service we just had a home built. The thermostats have been broken from day one. They have been refusing to replace them. They are refusing to let us speak with a supervisor. The lady that answers the phone is rude. I won't even allow their techs in my home again unless my husband is home. As a woman they treat me as if I'm ignorant, and lie To me. worst AC company, doesn't guarantee service, will charge just by visiting again even without service done
Chaos Ripoffs is what they should be called. Worse company in az. Will be reporting to the BBB. Always passing the buck and never accepting responsibility. The lady on the phone told me that an ac can only offset 30 degrees......wtf are you talking about. A 5 ton unit in a brand new energy efficient house less than 2k sqft should be able to maintain 75. EASY! Piss off chas Roberts and I hope you go out of business. SCAM ARTISTS AND HACKS!!!!
I utilized Chas Roberts to replace my water heater less than two years ago. This morning, it was broken and I had no hot water. They came out to look at it and said the bottom was burned out and it would be a $229 repair. They made a big deal of saying they were giving me a discount. My A/C unit stopped blowing yesterday the hottest day yet here in Phx. So I called customer service phone # @ around 6:50pm and got a Rep who after I explained what the problem was said I woul get a call back in a bit. Well it's already 85 degrees in the house and rising (95 by 10:30 pm) when after 3 calls to them @ 8:30, 9:30pm getting the same story someone will call you.
