Before COVID, I had an umbilical hernia which needed to be fixed. I put it off because, who wants surgery. By the time I actually scheduled it, it had gotten pretty bad, and my surgery was cancelled due to COVID. Once it was rescheudled, it had gotten worse. Dr. Paranjape is a brilliant doctor and the entire staff at Newton-Wellesley are beyond amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Paranjape to anyone seeking a kind, thorough, detailed and caring surgeon. He has resolved my gerd and hiatal hernia issues. Thank you so much!

Dr. Paranjape performed a hernia surgery on me. Less than a year after my surgery, I returned to his office with an open, bleeding wound where my incision was. He repeatedly told me this was normal and if it hurt he could send me for a nerve block. The following week I went for a second opinion with another General Surgeon who immediately put me on antibiotics and cultured the wound. The culture came back as Staph and I required surgery to remove a granuloma containing an un-desolved suture.
Dr.Paranjape, He has to be the most wonderful caring surgeon you could ever meet. He makes you feel very safe with him before surgery. I am glad to say he is my surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone as long as he in practice. Thank you Dr.Paranjape!
