I did the Venus Gold Battery tour and Gold Panning experience with my 2 boys, 16 and 12. We loved it and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charters Towers. Thank you so much 🫶

Really enjoyed the tour. Makes you wonder how people from now would have fared when it was on its hey day.
Arrived on Sunday at the scheduled time and it wasn't open!!! We were sent over by the Info Centre and arrived at 10:05 am and the gate was locked. There was no-one in sight. We weren't the only people trying to get in. There was no sign or sound of life.
