Caring and attentive staff with great food. It feels like home and staff makes sure that everyone feels just like family.
My 83-year old mother really likes this place, the people, the food, and especially the many activities. Just a few of the past week activities the residents participated in: bread baking, preparing dog treats for a local shelter, many musical activities including listening to a flute ensemble and the weekly block party with live entertainment. This place is beautiful with lots of amenities, however they seem to put their bottom line before the residents well being. Beware.
On first appearance, it looks like a nice place. For $3800.00 a month my father-in-law lives in a small one bedroom apartment, is allowed 2 meals a day and is charged $7.00 for each additional meal. They do a nice job cleaning his apartment and and send assistants to bathe him once a week. There is additional charges for laundry service, dilivering your meal to your apartment, $30.00 per day if you need medication management and a host of other nickle and dime charges if you want additional services.
