Charter was not a good decision for my mothers life. The case worker /manager does not want to do any work and is lazy. My moms blood sugar went over 400, they did not send a nurse (she also has cancer) to her and proceeded to make an appointment for my mom to see her primary doctor (the old dr she has not gone to to In 4 years) . How do they not have current dr info when their nurses would come every 2 weeks and ask us each time same questions each time: who are your doctors and what meds us she taking. This is a for-big-profit-business, not a healthcare business. They have predatorial "scouts" under the cover of "doctors", running around rehab centers to find patients (preys). The deliver low quality and superficial care. They tend to talk it up, promising more than they would actual deliver. If you have never had any experience with hospice care, you should not sign up with Charter. They have low quality nurses and doctors, who would never show up, even when you request one. Rose and her staff are incredible. Their follow up is impeccable. They are taking great care in making sure my mom Is provided with all her needs. I’d like to thank Rose and her staff for all their hard work and professionalism; Especially rose for going beyond expectations.

Our experience with this company has been extremely frustrating!! They are contracted with Kaiser and need to lose that contract. Each time my mother has had a referral we go through pure hell to schedule an appointment. It's starts with them saying they didn't receive the referral. (Now I always get a copy and send it to them while I have them on the phone. I don't hang up until they admit they have it. They use every excuse in the book to stall scheduling!! I would like to share this review with Charter Home Health and also give thanks to Case Manager Vanessa who was very patient and knowledgeable in helping my mother with her treatment and follow ups. We are going through a tough time now and having your love ones not doing so good hurts so much. Miss Vanessa helped and made sure we were taken care of, she contacted us and showed empathy and patience. Thank You Miss Vanessa, God bless you and your family!
