The rep that helps you get started, Aaron literally replied LOL when I asked him to send paperwork again because my father passed away. LOL? Pretty much describes the professionalism that this company offered. Called me on a Thursday that my father had hours left to live. Friday he died at 3pm and fortunately the facility contacted me to let me know because Charter didn't call me until 2 hours after. Look for other options. Any other options.

absolutely the best hospice, their team is very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. The care they provide is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them to any one.
My recently deceased father was on Charter Hospice, from the time he came home to live his last days with his family, charter was there for every moment that we needed them, from the delivery of all the equipment (which comes from a separate delivery company) to delivery of medications from the pharmacy to the care received from all the nurses, aides, sitters, and so on. Charter Home Hospice needs to be completely reorganized and continuously evaluated regarding family and patient care. I found this organization to be over extended with the territory they try to serve, inconsistent personnel who deliver patient services and bureaucratic errors and inefficiencies. Referring doctors need to do more research and gain first hand knowledge before they suggest this agency for any of their patients. Do not use Charter Home Hospice! Charter Home Hospice is horrible. I am writing tho review to try to help and protect other families from reaping the horrific experiences my family endured. I reported their agency as well to the JACO, a government agency which oversees hospice care in California. You can call them for their findings. Charter Home Hospice lacks efficiency, use of appropriate medical procedures, consistency, organization and seem to be over their heads in trying to cover referred patients in their enormous geographical areas.
