Food was amazing, staff is superb and even took the time to compliment us on our well behaved children. We will be going back for sure for a date night with NO kids! The filet mignon was so tender my husband used his butter knife to cut it, the salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad bar was delicious. For the past three years my husband takes me to the Blue Lantern to celebrate my birthday. Dinner has always been the Chart House. I have always enjoyed the fantastic food and view. This weekend was such a disappointment. One of our appetizers, Wicked Tuna (poke portion) was so bland I felt sorry for the tuna that sacrificed its life. Our entree, the shrimp and scallops... Great seafood , I loved the pomegranate mojito, and nice a ocean view!
The vistas are breathtaking and the food was of good quality. Can't go wrong beginning the evening with the Happy Hour menu and great pricing. Although Ayla was a helpful and pleasant waitress, I think she had too many tables to cover and wasn't always attentive to our needs. I had to ask for a glass of water 3 times, and the kitchen ran out of an offered appetizer, after we had waited 15 minutes for it to be delivered. Just not what I expect when I go to the Chart House.
