Food and service were excellent. View of alma mater nostalgic.
It was my 70th birthday and the staff made me feel like I was the only guest they were catering to. I am from Arkansas and was visiting my son. The meal was delicious as always(prime rib) Additionally, the staff gave me a card signed by all and my menu was printed especially for me and said happy 70th birthday mom. They tied it with a ribbon like a scroll as a souvenir. We always dine at Charter House at least once each time I visit. Highly recommended!!!
Came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, we were told that we would have a private room for our party only to find out that we were sharing a room with several parties! And some of our guests weren't even sitting at the table with the majority, we were separated! Our food order took extremely long to come out and when it did arrive, most of the food was cold! Went for a birthday celebration and while the food and the service was fine the closing of bill not so much. It was a large crowd so I understood to a point. But the girl that had arranged it was not told by the banquet manager that there would be a "banquet fee". This was not the typical large party gratuity but a separate fee for bringing a large party to their restaurant to buy their food. :| So I won't ever be booking a party there.
