I visited this location on Friday evening to purchase a nose ring. I asked the lady standing at the cash register to show me a small hoop. Unfortunately, she did not acknowledge us at first and then responded very rudely, making facial expressions that made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed—as if my question was foolish. Asking customers for Id as potential thieves is not a good experience for anyone trying to get a special event purchase, it was mentioned it's the protocol but other people walked in and not asked to give their id, so it seems it's only applicable to certain customers. Staff is great but the rule applying to selective customers for Id ruins the whole experience and it's now not a safety protocol but a random protocol applies on appearances.
My wife recently visited Charms at Mapleview Mall to explore some diamond jewellery. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. One of the staff showed little interest in assisting us and there was no genuine effort to answer our questions or guide us through the options available. Very helpful, had been shopping for a necklace for my girlfriend all day and Julia (the store manager) was extremely helpful and very friendly. Helped me find something in my price range right away. Without a doubt earned a 5 star rating. Will be coming back 100%
