Staying on top of maintenance requests would be a good start; e.g., the front door lock mechanism at 2043 has been broken (or malfunctioning) for years. It is easily "picked" with any stick or key. Other requests have gone unheeded for several months at a stretch--but I'd better not be 6 days late with my rent, or it'll cost me $100!
