Dr. Chambers is an intelligent practitioner skilled at providing treatment for complex psycho-somatic needs. He is expensive, but he follows up with my other providers when asked. Also, he personally responds to voicemails if needed. I've been working with him for almost two years now. While I don't have another psychiatrist to compare him with, my sense is that he is conservative in his treatment plans, which I appreciate. After having several different psychiatrist experiences since this one, I have changed my rating. It appears he works well for some people. I have no doubt he's knowledgeable. You essentially go down a checklist of yes/no/sometimes questions and then are diagnosed from that. The same type of questions on silly online quizzes. I felt like he very much couldn't wait for me to get out of there, he was distracted from my baby while I was speaking to him, incorrect notes on me, and just a little bit of socially awkward vibes. Wasted my time, did not help at all. Would not recommend. Refused to prescribe drugs I am already prescribed.
