I saw her when I was 17 when my parents divorced back in the early 90's, touched base with her in grad school, again during a divorce, again with a difficult and scary boyfriend. She is for people who are in need of help in a crisis. She will rescue you. She does not due fluffy therapy. I respect her more than almost anyone I know. I wouldn't be where I am today without her. I'm very thankful because those 4 points of my life I really needed her. Very thankful.

Dr Wenzel is like a friend, after 25+years of helping me thru the darkest and turbulent events & just of everyday life, she has truly helped me, save me. She is straight forward & I will hear what I may not want to hear, but what I will need for a later time. Dr. Wenzel is one of the kindest and competent clinicians I have ever worked with. She is compassionate and thoroughly assists with extremes of my family dynamics.

Dr. Wenzel is sweet, but sessions with her honestly made things worse. She would tell me I need to get over my triggers or do this and that but provide no guidelines or a treatment plan. Her bluntness can be helpful for some maybe but personally it made me feel like I was burdening her by coming in. Appointments were only once a month for less than an hour taking away that essential form of support. Sessions were not therapeutic, they were more like chatting like friends with occasional jabs.
