My experience at Charlotte Radiology was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff was rude and unwelcoming upon arrival. During my mammogram appointment, I explained to the technologist that I have long-standing fibrocystic breast tissue. When asked if I felt any lumps, I answered honestly that I do, as I always have. Diagnoses 20 years ago with fibrocystic breast. . She immediately stated they couldn’t do the exam and the exam had to be changed to diagnostic. My appointment was at 4 pm I was running late my ETA from 4:12 to 4:07 pm I waited on hold just for the radiologist to say at 3:59 that they would not honor appt. I drove over 40 minutes just to ve denied an appt and this is determine if I have a cancerous tumor in my breast. I will never ever schedule an appt at this location ever again.
First off front desk staff is soooooo rude! Then the tech did my ultrasound in the wrong area completely. Then I had to fight with them for three days straight to have it redone. Then finally on a Friday I got the redo of the ultrasound keeping in mind this for a lump on my ribs concerned it's a tumor. So sitting with this fear already for a week trying to get some sort of answer. I was told 24 to 48 hours for results.
