I had an urgent eye issue and the office got me in almost immediately. From the moment I called, the team was responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. The appointment was efficient without feeling rushed, and the doctor conducted a very thorough exam that addressed all of my concerns. Dr. Whiteside was pleasant to my daughter’s and I. He also answered my questions and had humor that eased me. I was unsure as to how we’d be treated, but I felt okay about the visit afterwards. It would’ve been nice if there had been one other person working in their vision center so that I could order and purchase what was needed for my daughter and I without having to go back to order what we need. I would recommend Dr. Whiteside.
This was my initial appt with them for my annual exam. I felt very rushed through the exam. With it being my first time with them I would have thought they would spend a little more time to get to know me any my vision history. During my exam that their tech performed, I asked her if we could do one part of it again as I wasn’t confident my responses to a couple of the “what is the lowest line you can read” questions. I had great experience with Charlotte Ophthalmology Center for Sight for my annual eye exam and purchasing new glasses for playing tennis. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient from check in to check out. The exam was thorough and everything was explained clearly, which I really appreciated. Selecting new glasses was easy with helpful guidance for my needs. Overall, positive experience and highly recommended.
