Located inside the magnificent Music Factory, the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre serves as a grand venue for concerts, theater and other cultural acts. The amphitheater can accommodate more than 2000 spectators and an elevated lawn seating arrangement has the capacity for an additional 3,000 to relax and enjoy the show. Built in 2009, this 'boutique amphitheater' has been host to more than 20 concerts in its opening year consisting of various national and international bands.

One of the better amphitheatres I've been to. Has a cool bar right outside the entrance with cheap beer and food, nice layout with a good view wherever you are, chill staff . . . Just an overall nice vibe for a concert.

Great venue!!! But drinks are way to EXPENSIVE!!!! Come on $7.50 for a bottle of water!!!
Every single show I have seen has been a bastardized version of the advertised performance. Bands come there knowing that they don't have to put on a good show and the venue just lets it happen because they get high ticket prices per person. I've seen several bands I love there and left with the impression that I got robbed. THIS VENUE SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
Cool little area! With indoor venues, outdoor venues, clubs, bars, and restaurants, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy and it's all within walking distance! The amphitheater is really nice and feels very intimate. And believe you me, they mean it when they say "rain or shine," which we learned from experience.
