Every single show I have seen has been a bastardized version of the advertised performance. Bands come there knowing that they don't have to put on a good show and the venue just lets it happen because they get high ticket prices per person. I've seen several bands I love there and left with the impression that I got robbed. THIS VENUE SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
Back in the day this was a bangin' spot but because of the politics, Disney and investors this was not preserved as an icon of history....
Cool little area! With indoor venues, outdoor venues, clubs, bars, and restaurants, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy and it's all within walking distance! The amphitheater is really nice and feels very intimate. And believe you me, they mean it when they say "rain or shine," which we learned from experience. If you're lucky (like we were) the rain won't ruin but rather enhance your show (just call it a 4D concert experience; it seems fancier that way)! Parking is close, safe, and affordable. The venue itself is very cool...looks like they took a parking lot and turned it into the amphitheater-- there is no undercover seating, so rain could put a damper on the show. We were in section 103 row 12 seats 1 & 2 and the seats were awesome. The parking was $5.00 in a garage, not bad, it would be nice if they provided someone at the exit area to point in the direction best to leave...seemed we were going around in circles in a graveled lot for a bit! All in all, very good venue and will definitely go back!
Cool venue. Closer you are to the front there's not much of a slope for seating, and not much of an overhang if rains either. They sold a lot of ponchos last night at Deftones show! Hope to check it out again.
