Located inside the magnificent Music Factory, the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre serves as a grand venue for concerts, theater and other cultural acts. The amphitheater can accommodate more than 2000 spectators and an elevated lawn seating arrangement has the capacity for an additional 3,000 to relax and enjoy the show. Built in 2009, this 'boutique amphitheater' has been host to more than 20 concerts in its opening year consisting of various national and international bands.

We went to see Ellie Goulding and I thought it was great! The venue was great, parking was not horrible like other places, the people were great, we even got a VIP upgrade!!!
This is our favorite music venue. Not a bad seat in the place!
Called today for 40 mnutes straight for informtion about venue and concert tomorrow. No answer left messages for almost weryone in directory and no call back... Horrible customer service
I have bought many tickets through LiveNation/Ticketmaster, and I have seen many shows both at different venues belonging to the NC Music Factory as well as other places around Charlotte. I have never run into a problem until I went to the Ellie Goulding concert on Thursday, 6/9. My best friend and I had lawn seats and had been in our spots since about 6pm. Very relaxed place to see a band. Every spot is a great seat, even when you are up getting a beer and just hanging out by the fence.
Awful. Their automated phone line says you can bring umbrellas and lawn chairs...we got there and they made us check them at the gate. When I asked why their phone line said we could bring them in, they said 9" chairs maximum and that I should have known because of the loudspeaker at the venue. I said you'd have to be here to hear that. Thats not what it says to this day on the line. We got in and their rentals were sold out. We had to stand the entire show out on the lawn with no umbrella. Very frustrating.
