I began seeing Dr. Spangenthal after a pulmonary embolism at 30 years old, due to birth control. I was hospitalized in Gastonia, and they discharged me with no follow-up care plans. After attempting to follow up with a pulmonologist on my own in Gastonia, and being rudely turned down, I found Dr. Spangenthal.
