Dr. Viral Patel is an excellent gastroenterologist! He cared for my elderly mother during a challenging hospitalization involving recurrent anemia and difficult-to-localize GI bleeding. Dr. Patel was thorough, knowledgeable, and honest about the limitations of testing, while still being proactive and thoughtful in his approach. Dr. Sanjib Mohanty is wonderful and so are the rest of his team who were all assisting him with my procedure. Even the lady who affiliated my anesthesia was great as well. Oh yeah, I can’t leave out the people at the front desk who handled all my paperwork and check in, we’re all phenomenal! Even the nice lady who rode me out in the wheelchair. There are not enough words to say how wonderful working with Charlotte Gastro and especially Dr Gardiner Roddey have been for well over a decade. I feel treated as a person with a name and a life rather than just a ma’am or a sir passing through. I had an upper endoscopy today and it could not have gone more smoothly. Every person I came in contact with was delightful. They make what can be a scary experience not so bad at all.
