Whitney pierced my outer helix on 2/21 (my first cartilage piercing) and did a wonderful job! I know she was booked that afternoon, but she never rushed. She was personable and knowledgeable, and I'm grateful she took so much time to explain not only the piercing process and aftercare, but how the jewelry worked as well. Everything was sterile and she made sure it stayed that way (my husband is an ICU nurse and went with me that day. He even remarked as we were leaving, "I was really impressed with her sterile technique."). ... read more

I am a little more than disappointed to say the least. I have tried to be more than patient when trying to get some work done. I have for years stated I wouldn't go to Charlies for tattoos as I had some issues with them in the late 90's. But days are new, and people and businesses changed. I personally visited the shop twice to see a piercer, and to talk to Elli about a tattoo that's very important to me. Hi Trina, I'm sorry to hear you are so upset with your experience here. You mentioned that it is tax season, which is correct. This is our busiest time of year. Elli was out sick for 3 days from the studio and sick at home another 2 days on her off days. When she returned to work she was well behind on drawing the art for her appointments and working to reschedule the missed appointments as well. Jess is AMAZING! I got a nose piercing done and she put all of my nerves at ease. When picking out my jewelry, she was very patient as I was indecisive as to what piece I wanted. Jess explained everything with a lot of detail before she started and continued to explain the process as she was doing the piercing.
