Nancy does an exceptional job on my nails. She takes her time and makes sure they are done to my liking. Definitely worth the drive to LaPlata.
On 5/1/26 my daughter and I went to Charlie's Nails and Spa in La Plata md for the first time. We both had manicures and petticures. The lady that took care of my daughter was ok. She did a good job. However, I had 2 people, one for my hands and one my feet. The lady that did my feet was ok but I guess she had to leave and wasn't able to do my hand. Chose “Rose Sugar scrub” listed as “40.00” on their menu. I chose gel nail polish “5.00” extra. Tipped $10.00 dollars cash. Went up to pay, she told me my total was $65.00 paying cash. My total should have been $45.00 dollars. I was cheated and you will be too. Do NOT go here.
I’ve been coming to this salon on and off for over two years, but my most recent experience has really changed my perspective. I had an extremely frustrating and disrespectful experience at this salon. After the acrylic was applied, I clearly told the technician that my nails were too thin and would likely break—this has happened to me before, so I know what I’m talking about.
