I've ate at Charlie's now for over 20 years best barbecue I know of period absolutely love it
I have been coming here for 10 years and I like it so much because they don't put sauce in the meat. All I can say for the people that put a bad review tell me why the place is packed out. BBQ is supposed to be all about the meat not the sauce but the sauce is awesome too. We South Carolina Trooper's love Charlie's BBQ.
We LOVE Charlie's! The food is great, the people are kind, and the atmosphere is simple. No frills, no fuss kind of place. High recommend making this your GO TO BBQ place:)
Been eating at Charlie's for over 20 years, I moved to Moore SC over ten years ago but still make the trip to Charlie's. More known for their Barbecue, but one of my favorites is a Cheese Burger with slaw on bottom.
The meat has no flavor. They have two sauces - bad and worse. And that constant "chop-chop-chop" sound from behind the counter drives me nuts. Fortunately I only have to go there twice a year when my brother visits from out of state, but that's two times too many.
Great BBQ and even better smoked turkey. Have to take a smoked turkey to my father-in-law in Pennsylvania every Christmas! Thank you guys for great food!
Great BBQ very fast and friendly. BBQ cooked the way it should be.
