I am notoriously a harsh critic on food places, but Charleys always gets a 5 Star from me. The guys there are friendly, the food is hot and fresh, and the portions are a good value for the price. The kitchen also looks very clean which is a big deal to me. I love this place!
I absolutely love this place have for years but the old grumpy dude named Doug i believe his name was, is awful the last 2 times I have came he was extremely rude, was not willing to be helpful and just overall awful so … do better , will be returning just when he’s not there !
I am a once a week regular, today I order my normal chicken cheese steak with mayo, mushrooms and onions with no other veggies. When I got home and chores finished sat down to eat and there was very little meat, more like what a small would be instead of a regular. No mayo, maybe 3 or four slices of mushrooms and only 2 or 3 slivers of onions. Very much disappointed in it
Cashier was extremely rude. For that alone I will not be returning. Completely unhelpful and after I paid I asked if the chicken was buffalo or original since he didn’t ask. He told me original and I asked if it could be changed to buffalo at which point he told me “it’s way too late for that.” Like you didn’t literally just put the order in. Almost asked for a refund to then make a new purchase for the buffalo just to prove a point of how easy it would have been to just tell the cook buffalo.
I honestly hate writing this because this used to be one of my favorite spots in town whenever I came to visit. I used to look forward to eating here. But now? It’s just sad. The food is beyond disappointing. It comes out soggy and I mean immediately soggy. There’s no way food should turn into a wet mess in the five seconds it takes to walk from the counter to a table right in front of them. It wasn’t sitting. It wasn’t delivered.
