Do not bother to worry about reservations; this popular upcountry eatery does not take them. It packs in the crowds as they come. If you have a large party, be prepared to wait during busy times. The portions here are enormous. At breakfast, a single pancake is enough to satisfy a normal appetite. All kinds of salads and fish sandwiches are served in addition to standard burger-n-fries fare. Charley’s is full of celebrity pictures and the atmosphere is great. However servers need to be better. The night we were there it was very slow so the service should have been amazing and it wasn’t. We had to often track our server down to come to our table. This could be an amazing place if managed better.
Their chili is pretty darn good!
The Willie factor drew me here. Great to see other artists pics and great art in general in this restaurant/bar with surprisingly decent food as a bonus. Only complaint: Out of T-shirts!

Very average meal. Poor management. Lost our order and would was never told by any of the staff. Our table was passed around to 3 different servers. Dumped our table and situation on to a very sweet server, stuck in the middle of the situation. Compted one meal of five and management didnt have the guts to address us to apologize. Tipped the server for showing us some compassion. How what a waste of two hours on Maui.
