When I am in Lafayette for any period of time, I make a point to stop at Charley G's. The food and service are always spot on and I love to revisit old favorites and try new seasonal items. Stopped in for a quick bite after a late flight last night and the pork belly lettuce wraps were excellent. Kudos to Chef Holly and the service team for another memorable meal.
Three stars for our third visit to Charlie G's. Why, you ask? Well, my girlfriend and I both felt that our last trip there was far less than excellent. Here's the story. We were celebrating a special occasion(Anniversary and Birthday actually) and were met with friendly faces and excellent service. One of my favorites for many years! Delicious food in an upscale, relaxing atmosphere! Always a treat to go!
Excellent customer service which has become increasingly rare in Lafayette's restaurants. I hadn't been in many years and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is upscale and at the same time cozy. Food was excellent. Great place for celebrating an occasion.
Had a superb night at the Jefferson Kentucky Bourbon and Cigar Dinner the service was spot on and o the food FANTASTIC!
One of my favorite places! Excellent service and food!
