Not urgent. A joke. Extortion model. $548 for a visit?! Then a second bill came for $35. I was the second patient in line when they opened, 5 total hrs later, diagnosed with the flu. I also asked not to be tested for COVID bc I just tested negative and did not want to pay. They did it anyways. Asked for cost breakdowns prior to agreeing to care. The nurse practitioner and nursing staff were excellent with my toddler. We were seen in a timely manner and reception staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately this Urgent Care wasn't really "Urgent". I came in for a sinus infection - this is not urgent and its a bad time of year so I knew there would be a wait but I quickly was triaged and sent to the waiting room with two other people ahead of me. Within 10-15 minutes they had put me in a room. The Doctor will be in shortly they said. I thought-sweet-this will go a lot faster than I expected. It says urgent care on the door, on the website and at the front desk, but don't be fooled- this place is not an urgent care. They will charge you for an ER visit no matter what you come in for. After being talked into an unnecessary x-ray, It took 3 hours for them to tell us the equivalent of a Google search result and that they were going to charge us the maximum possible. Absolutely waste of time and money, what a joke of a healthcare system.
