What an incredible experience. Came up to Charlevoix for the 4th holiday weekend and unfortunately my oldest sliced his hand on a rock in the lake this morning and it definitely needed stitches (his first stitches, mind you). 4 hours north of where we live I decided to visit this ER. Not only were we in and out in literally less than 20 minutes, but all 4 medical professionals we encountered were so kind. I went there in pain I've been in for a month and they had no clue how to help me . I had to go back home sick and puking not knowing when it will stop, the people there aren't there for you , they are there for a check . DO NOT GO THERE NO MATTER WHAT
I have two problems when it comes to the emergency room at munson charlevoix.The first is your one nurse i'm not going to disclose either of our names but the way me and my mother were treated not once but twice by this female nurse was totally uncalled for.She had a snotty additude from the minute she walked in made us feel very unwelcome my mother was in tears because she was really sick and was misserable because of it and your nurse had no sympathy what so ever told her ill be back didn't come back for over 2 hours said ... read more
I, unfortunately, had to have services at this facility while I was visiting from out of town. I don't know if I can think of enough words to describe my experience. Efficient, caring, quick, understanding, helpful, considerate, did I say quick? From the admitting clerk, to Marie, Karla, transport person, CT scan fellow and the doctor....EVERYONE was so pleasant, helpful, happy to do whatever was necessary to get their job done.
