CH is the best. They gave my aging dad the best care ever in the ER and for a 3 day stay. They helped us find services after his discharge too. Amazing staff and so lucky to be near a small town hospital who cares.

Very hit or miss what happens when you come here, to the point where I've been yelled at multiple times by people who care about me because I don't want to come here or the one in Petoskey. As far as I'm concerned, there is no good hospital in this area, just a pick your poison situation. This one gets you seen pretty quick, but the doctors don't always seem to care. I had one when I went in for muscle spasms accuse me of just being there seeking narcotics. I talked to my doctor the next day, who prescribed a muscle relaxer ... read more

I'm so glad my wife and I went to Charlevoix Area Hospital, Munson Charlevoix. The care and compassion my wife and I received was everything we could hope for from a hospital. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, kind, and caring. Dr. Weise explained everything to us in detail and was very personable. My wife and I are planning to change our primary care needs to Munson Charlevoix as a result of this visit. Thank you very much!

I had my baby boy at the birthing center and it was an amazing experience (as amazing as it could be to give birth). The nurses were so kind, respectful and attentive. Jenna and McKenzie made my experience extra special. I highly recommend Charlevoix Munson birthing center for your birthing experience
