We tried to bring our daughter here and it didn't work out. This place truly looks very promising but I suppose that my daughter was not ready for a new life. She only lasted 8 days after we had paid for the first month. Charleston Recovery Center kindly returned a portion of our payment$ I believe it's accurate to interpret that as putting their heart above their wallet. I can’t say enough good things about the Charleston Recovery Center. This place truly saved my life. From day one, they helped me dive into the Big Book study, and you will learn exactly how to recover. They have volleyball, basketball, a place to lift weights, a huge yard and a pool there’s plenty of food to eat. Sometimes they take you out to eat. They also take you on outings. So I went to the Hope a year ago broken and battered I was a victim of domestic violence and my ex boyfriend almost killed me and I was really bad off on drinking and drugs. Was homeless living pit of a hotel. I had never been to rehab before and didn't want to go but I did and I was not all about it but the staff really does care and want to see u succeed with sobriety. Its been one year to this day, I've been sober. So i thought it would be time to write a review. One year ago I was at the Hospital in a hopeless state of mind and body. Had a great job, had great friends, on the surface my life looked plentiful. This was wrong, I was living in my own prison physically sick and mentally lost.
