Service on the top bar was fabulous, I only wish they had a broader menu on the outside deck.
We chose Fish House since it was within walking distance of our resort. The menu was small, the portions were small. The food wasn't bad overall, but it lacked the unique creativity found in many Charleston restaurants. To top it all off, I used my debit card. For some reason, they put an $1100 hold on my account! That's not something you need while on vacation.

We had made a reservation for 1:30 pm the day of the eclipse. We arrived early by an hour since we were coming from a distance and didn't know how bad traffic would be. When we arrived, the restaurant was half empty, so we asked if we could move up our reservation. We were told no. So we went to sit in the bar area, where we were informed we could also order food. The waitstaff in the bar area were excellent. So, we were able to eat early, despite the response of the front desk, and we cancelled our reservation.

It was overpriced. Our server also helped everyone around us first (all sat down after we did) and she had this fake kindness to her. She seemed like she didn't want to be there and seemed impatient with us when we had questions.

Fabulous meal! We had the amazingly witty, efficient and kind server, Angel!! All this with great atmosphere and beautiful views.
