Dr Wendling has been a top notch Dr through my entire experience with my Colo/Rectal Cancer. He listened to my needs and concerns and addressed each one to my understanding. I would recommend Dr Wendling to anyone looking for a Cancer DR. He is with the Messino Cancer Center in Franklin, as well as other locations. Wonderful bedside manners! Dr. Wendling took his time to get to know me (a new patient to Messino) and get familiar with my condition. He was very thorough in explaining my mutation and the potential long term side effects of Imatinib. He developed and briefed to me a comprehensive course of action. I am happy to say that Dr Wendling gives me the feeling that my condition is in excellent hands.
Dr Wendling has an unassuming manner that instantly put me at ease. He listened carefully, asked for clarification and related information to me in an easily understandable manner.
Dr Wendling has been generous with his time and knowledge in helping me navigate - as a newcomer - the US medical system. In particular, he advocated on my behalf to make sure that my health issue was properly identified and handled by a separate entity. He explains medical issues and possible ramifications in a way that I understand. Much appreciated!
