This doctor does not come across as having the patient's best interest as her first priority instead of being more concerned about meeting insurances' expectations. Does not go into the details of a medical condition or the associated treatment. Very reluctant to issue a doctor's note for absence from work due to illness.

I'm taking the time to rate my GP because as I lose my healthcare plan, I'm losing him. He has been among the best GP's I've had in my lifetime, and I've had some excellent ones. I appreciate that he always took the time to make sure he understands the problem, and then he prescribes reasonable treatment - not more than needed, nor less. I really wish he was on my new healthcare plan.
Dr. Salinger is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor my husband and I have had. We have been with him for over 10 years and he gas never disappointed us. He has not missed a diagnosis and we trust him completely. We had to change insurance plans for a while and did everything we could to get him back. We can't afford to lose his services - he has been with us during major illness with both of us, and we wouldn't have anyone else. Thank you Dr. Salinger.
I have been seeing Dr. Salinger for Many years. He is an extraordinary Doctor! he listens to me takes his time to explain things to me. I am very blessed to have such a great human being as my Doctor. He's taking care of me for my health problems. I love that he is always on time, more doctors should be like him!
Dr. Zane was my primary care Doctor when I resided in Oceanside California. I found Dr. Zane and his staff caring and compassionate. I always felt Dr. Zane understood and was knowledgeable my needs and was current in his knowledge about treatment. He always took the time and was able to explain to me in terms that I could understand about my medical condition and the course of treatment. I always felt that Dr. Zane remembered me, personally. That meant a lot to me. He is a great doctor and I wish I were still under his care.
I have been a client of dr. Proshkina for two years now and I never had a problem with her. She is very efficient even though it may seem that she doesn't spend too much time listening. Most good doctors are busy and have little time to spend with patients, it is just a reality in health care. At least she gets job done and my needs are met. If you feel like you need someone to listen to you, see a psychologist maybe.
