The store is huge! Staff is amazing. If you love trains, this is THE place to shop, as it's the largest in the country and maybe even the whole world. They have a few cars and model kits as well. I've also been told they have great shipping options if you need to send something home or just want to order online. It's a fun place to stop even just for the nostalgia because they have so many older themed trains as well as the new ones.
I have always had great experiences here. My most recent experience was more than expected. I had an issue with an item I had purchased and they quickly resolved it to my satisfaction.
I live in Boston, and this is my "local" train store. Their prices are competitive with the online and mail order places, and it's great to be able to see new models in person before deciding whether I want it! (Ok ok I always "want" it!) This kind of business is getting rare these days, so I'm glad this one is still here!
If you call and ask for a manager they will not allow you to speak to a manger. Wasn’t even for a complaint, very strange
