I got in for a OCD therapist fully covered by my insurance mass health on a waiting list for less then 2 months. I have been looking since 2021 .we could only find out of pocket. Even my mom who has private insurance couldn't find anyone. I don't start seeing her until next week but just this itself was A HUGE accomplishment.
The best in the business at letting patients slip through the cracks, and there are a lot of cracks.
The new lady at the front desk literally talked over me the entire phone call. Front desk's attitude is everything. Especially at a therapists office. Very bad face for the center.
I just lost my last therapist at another counseling center (she left the practice), so I have been on the hunt for a new one. I have a loooooong list of really specific issues, and I was looking for someone who not only had experience in as many of these "checkboxes" as possible, but also had regular weekly availability for appointments, and accepted my insurance. I've been a client here for over a year, having gone through couples counseling, individual counseling, and medication management. The staff here are all wonderful, and I have had great success here. Their hours are very flexible, which is great for my work schedule. I'm so glad I decided to make that first appointment!
