Charles is well on his way to earning the under-appreciated title of best opposing counsel in Utah. His lack of professionalism, lack of respect for others, and vastly overstated knowledge of the law make for an entertaining spectacle. If you're in the unfortunate position of having to navigate family court, you have my sympathy. But if Charles is your opposing counsel, cheer up - you're that much closer to winning your case.

This man is frustrating to deal with in terms of contact and business. He doesnt reply, and if he does it is unuseful information and ages past when I needed it. Seriously hope he learns how to handle business I dont know how hes managed this whole time. We call him sleepy charlie because he rarely seems to be engaging wether in person or digitally. Please run.

Sage law should not have an attorney Like Charles Ahlstrom. Violates all ethics rules. Constantly lies to clients. Takes things personal and has no principles and clear path when dealing with cases. Also wearing a bow tie to hearings is unprofessional!

I reached out to this attorney, because I saw what he did for somebody and had hope. I need to go back to court now that I could finally afford an attorney, I took my ex-husband back to court for one thing. I have called Charles several times, I have written him, it’s been a 1 1/2 years and he has not returned any phone calls who knows what he did with the $3500 I paid him. Reached out to other attorneys to judges I’m completely upset that he’s not representing the law or me. Just took my money.
