At first we felt relieved to find Dr. Cartwright. He has a very kind bedside manner and is patient and attentive... when you're in the office. But we soon learned that he was not a doctor who cared about his patients outside of the paid sessions. We tried pharmaceuticals for the 1st time with our 12 yr old autistic son and it wasn't going well. We called Dr. Cartwright for advice several times. Don’t ever have a child in complete crisis and have to repeatedly call on him. He will desert you and your child in a time of need. You pay him hundreds and hundreds of dollars all to be ignored in the end. He doesn’t even have the nerve to tell you he just ignores you.
Our son has been a patient of Dr. Cartwright's for twenty years. He is the best in his field. His expertise is only topped by his care and compassion for his patients.
